Oscar Habeenzu is an eccentric writer and publisher of business content, that has caught the attention of London and New York, bringing them to Johannesburg and Harare for licensing deals and franchises. He is the publisher at Cabanga Media Group, publishers of business magazines in Botswana, Zambia and South Africa.
In February 2020, he was appointed a non-executive board member of the Women's Farming Syndicate, he corporately oversees the organisation with 5,000 female farmers and related entrepreneurs in Southern Africa. In the same month, he was also appointed Non-Executive Director for Leonair Aviation, a privately owned business with aviation interests in Southern Africa, with his major role being fostering fundraising of capital, and stakeholder synergies for business development.
He is a Researcher, Coffee Tourist, and Magazine Publisher with business magazines in Botswana, South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and growing into East and West Africa. A multi-skilled creative, with over 25 years’ experience, he has built and participated in over 1,000 projects as a creative, media and technology related projects in corporate, civic, and diplomatic communities in several African countries. He is studying for an MBA with a Swiss Business School, and lectures on Digital Journalism, Design and Marketing.
